Survey Crew Chief- LEVEL DOE

Under general to minimal supervision, provides survey support to the Resident Engineer on projects to ensure construction compliance with plans, specifications, contract documents, and codified requirements. Tasks may include assisting with performing land surveys and conducting research on various construction projects of basic complexity which may include visually mapping/drafting legal boundaries and the potential placement of structures, utilities, and installations.

Generates accurate and concise documentation regarding assigned aspects of the project. Ensures that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for design, uniformity, thoroughness, and legal compliance for survey documents.
