Electrical Assembler - Weekend

Position Description The Electrical Assembler- Weekend is responsible for wiring and installing electrical components used in custom electrical equipment. This role works from drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of material (BOMs) to ensure equipment is wired safely, neatly, and accurately to SPS quality standards. Hours: 6:00am-6:00pm- Friday- Sunday (work 36 hours, get paid for 40. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Install electrical components according to assembly drawings. Wire electrical control panels using drawings and wiring diagrams. Verify parts and components against BOMs for accuracy. Route and organize wiring neatly and accurately. Identify and report material, design, or quality issues. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Support continuous improvement and other production needs as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools. Basic math, measurement, and problem-solving skills. Ability to follow drawings, instructions, and established processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed. Preferred Previous electrical wiring, assembly, or manufacturing experience. Experience reading electrical drawings, schematics, or wiring diagrams. Experience wiring control panels or electrical equipment. Familiarity with electrical components and bills of material.
