Cloud Consultant

This position is designed for Solution Architects looking to transition into a strategic consulting role. You will leverage your technical foundation in AWS to move beyond system design and construction, stepping into a role that addresses core business challenges. You will support high-level decision-making, define "To-Be" states through cloud technology, and formulate IT strategies and architectural policies.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Consulting Current State Analysis: Organize customer challenges and define key discussion points (As-Is analysis). IT Strategy: Formulate IT utilization policies incorporating cloud, data, and AI. Roadmapping: Develop comprehensive architectures, implementation roadmaps, and cost-benefit analyses. Decision Support: Create proposals and materials to support executive-level decision-making.
2. Technical Leadership Architecture Design: Design advanced cloud architectures with a focus on AWS. Non-functional Requirements: Define standards for security, availability, cost optimization, and operations. Technical Lead: Oversee the implementation phase through technical guidance and code/design reviews.
3. Stakeholder Management Client Relations: Negotiate and align with client IT and business departments. Global Coordination: Collaborate with internal engineers and international offshore development centers. Partner Collaboration: Work closely with AWS and other technology partners.

Requirements

Hands-on experience in system design and construction using AWS (e.g., as a Solution Architect, Cloud Engineer, or SRE). Infrastructure Knowledge: Solid understanding of core IT architecture, including networks, security, and databases. Communication: Ability to verbalize technical concepts and explain them clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills: AI Expertise: Experience using Generative AI tools for design, documentation, or analysis. Upstream Experience: Experience in requirements definition, basic design, or pre-sales. Certifications: AWS Certified Solution Architect (Associate or Professional level). Leadership: Experience in project management (PM/PL) or consulting roles.

Domain Interest: Interest in DX, data utilization, and the latest AI technologies.
