Trade Officer

JOB POSITION: Trade Officer ROLE SUMMARY: The Trade Officer supports trade and commercial activities through data analysis, pricing administration, reporting, and coordination with internal teams to ensure the effective execution of trade-related actions. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Key Duties and Responsibilities Assist in monitoring trade performance and market developments to support business objectives.

Support pricing activities, quotations, and rate updates in accordance with trade guidelines. Prepare regular reports and data analysis to support trade and commercial activities. Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and regional teams to ensure accurate execution of trade-related actions. Maintain trade information, pricing records, and commercial data in company systems.

Support capacity management and allocation activities to optimize vessel utilization. Assist in the implementation of commercial initiatives and trade campaigns. Perform other trade-related administrative and operational tasks as assigned. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or a related field. Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, trade management, pricing, or commercial operations. Experience in market analysis, commercial planning, or trade support is an advantage.

Knowledge Knowledge of shipping and logistics operations, trade management processes, and pricing concepts. Basic understanding of trade lanes, vessel capacity management, and commercial performance metrics. Skills & Competencies Good command of spoken and written English (Minimum TOEIC score: 750). Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good organizational and time-management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
