English Teacher (HL and FAL) Grades 8 to 12

Simond Private School is seeking a dynamic and passionate English Teacher to inspire and guide learners across Grades 8–12. The ideal candidate is a committed educator who combines strong subject expertise with innovative teaching methods, effectively integrating technology to enhance learning. Beyond the classroom, the teacher plays a vital role in learner development, assessment, and meaningful engagement with parents and colleagues.

Commencement date: 1 August 2026 Teaching Load: 85% Minimum Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification in English Education.

SACE registration – essential. Minimum of 3–5 years’ teaching experience in English Education (IEB experience advantageous). Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills. Proficient in integrating technology into teaching. Police clearance and clearance from the National Register for Sex Offenders (NRSO).
