Position Summary

The House Supervisor monitors, coordinates, and supervises the daily operations and activities. Acts as a resource for all the team members and works closely with other interdisciplinary teams to maintain best practice workflows and keep issues to a minimum. Supervises nursing staff, schedule shifts and their day-to-day duties on behalf of nursing leadership.

Perform administrative duties including scheduling nursing shifts. Collaborates with other departments and programs to achieve interdisciplinary improvements. Maintains a safe environment for staff and patients through awareness of surroundings and participation in the safety program. Identifies and solves patients concerns, questions, and suggestions to ensure quality care is delivered.

– 6:30 a.m. License and Certifications: Valid California RN License Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross PALS certification preferred Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Master’s degree preferred Experience: Three or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse One or more years experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is preferred Demonstrates strong interpersonal relationships in a manner which enhances communication, promotes conflict resolution and facilitates staff development.
