SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM Yonkers Contracting Company is looking for motivated students to join our Accounting and IT Internship Program. What You’ll Do Accounting Interns Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and coding Help reconcile accounts, track project costs, and maintain financial records Learn the basics of construction accounting, including job costing, subcontractor payments, and requisitions on public works projects IT Interns Provide help desk support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues Help set up, configure, and track computers, mobile devices, and other equipment for office and field sites Assist with user accounts, system updates, and IT documentation Qualifications Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills Willing to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team What We Offer Paid internship Mentorship from experienced industry professionals Potential for full-time opportunities About Yonkers Contracting Company, Inc.
