Assistant Manager - Internal Communications

Founded in 1978, headquartered in Hong Kong and based in China, our client focus on the textile and apparel business in Asia and the rest of the world. The candidate will serve as a bridge between the company and employees, be responsible for all sorts of communications and engagement activities with employees, making them feel engaged, connected, involved and supported.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with employees through different channels, materials and approaches to support the company management. Develop and deliver the corporate messages in English and occasionally in Chinese, to employees group-wide to promote the group’s mission, brand, values and culture. Coordinate with local team in respective regions and business units to implement staff initiatives and execute activities.

Develop and organize staff engagement campaigns and events with Human Resources and/or Corporate Communications. Assist in the execution of corporate events or campaigns. Measure the employee engagement level throughout the employee’s life-cycle.

Requirements

University degree in Communications, Language (English), Journalism, Marketing or related disciplines. At least 3-5 years of working experience, preferably in marketing or communications. Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Great project and time management skills. A team player and also able to work under pressure independently.

Experience in multi-cultural and multinational environment preferred. Good command of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, Graphic Design and Video Editing. Based in Hong Kong with occasional business trips. Excellent command of English, proficient in both Cantonese and Mandarin.
