• Closed Door Long Term Care Pharmacy Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80909 Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist PRN to join our Closed Door Long Term Care Pharmacy team in Colorado Springs, CO. This position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to long term care facilities, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

Responsibilities

Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with regulations. Prepare and dispense medications accurately for long term care patients. Provide clinical support and medication counseling to healthcare providers and nursing staff. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient medication therapy. Be a leader and supervise technicians Perform other duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Colorado. Strong knowledge of medication management for long term care populations. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills with healthcare professionals and staff. Flexibility to work PRN (as needed) shifts.
