Job Description – Agency Sales Manager (Life Insurance) Position: Agency Sales Manager (ASM) Department: Agency Channel Location: As per business requirement Reporting To: Branch Manager / Cluster Manager Role Purpose To recruit, train, and manage a team of insurance advisors/agents and drive sales through the agency channel while ensuring productivity, persistency, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Recruit and onboard quality insurance advisors/agents. Develop and maintain a productive agency force. Conduct training sessions and provide regular field coaching to agents. Generate life insurance business through the agency channel. Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Assist advisors in lead generation, prospecting, and customer acquisition.

Monitor agent productivity and activation ratios. Build and maintain strong relationships with advisors and customers. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. Prepare sales reports and participate in review meetings. Eligibility Graduate in any discipline. 2-6 years of experience in insurance sales, agency sales, banking, NBFC, FMCG, telecom, or direct sales.

Experience in team handling and business development preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
