POSITION:
The Electrical Wireman 1/2 assists with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems while following NEC requirements and company safety standards. This role uses hand and power tools, supports daily project activities, and works under the guidance of experienced electricians. Candidates should have a basic understanding of electrical systems, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Depending on skill level, individuals may perform tasks under close supervision or with increasing independence as they develop their electrical knowledge and trade skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and equipment.

Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Use various tools and equipment, such as power tools and testing devices.
-
Troubleshoot electrical issues and assist in diagnosing problems.

Inspect electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards.

Communicate issues, risks, or additional tasks to supervisors or licensed electricians.

Maintain clean and organized workspaces, ensuring tools and equipment are in good working order.

Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate safety gear during work.

Learn to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
-
Minimum 6 months to 2 years of electrical construction or apprentice experience preferred.

Basic knowledge of electrical materials, tools, and installation methods.

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, and pulling.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

Willingness to learn, take direction, and work under the supervision of experienced electricians.

Must possess apprentice tools as specified by the company.
-
Basic math skills required for measuring, layout, and calculating electrical loads.

OSHA certification preferred.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a professional attitude on job sites.
Pay Range: $18- $24 per Hour
