Job description

Physical Therapist – Orthopedic & Sports AID Performance Physical Therapy | Ashburn, VA If you’re an orthopedic PT who likes treating patients but doesn’t want to spend your day managing an unrealistic caseload and finishing notes at night, this position is designed differently. What the job actually looks like 1-hour evaluations Maximum 2 patients per hour Gradual caseload ramp rather than walking into a full schedule AI documentation/scribe technology to reduce charting burden Primarily orthopedic and sports-medicine patients ACL and return-to-sport rehabilitation Objective testing using VALD Force.

Decks and Dyna. Mo Blood-flow restriction and performance-based rehabilitation Opportunity to develop dry needling skills Direct clinical mentorship from the practice owner, a PT with nearly 30 years of orthopedic/sports experience Dedicated time for case review, technique development, clinical discussion, and continuing education What we’re not AID is not a high-volume corporate clinic built around seeing 3–4 patients at once.

We’re an independent practice where clinical reasoning, hands-on treatment, objective testing, and patient relationships still matter.

Compensation

& benefits Rather than saying “competitive compensation,” we publish the numbers. $76,000–$85,000 base salary + performance bonus , with the ability to grow compensation as your caseload and contribution to the practice grow.

Benefits

include health insurance, paid time off, eight paid holidays, SIMPLE IRA, continuing-education allowance and paid CE days, professional liability/life insurance, and support for advanced clinical training. Who this fits This could be a strong fit for a newer PT who wants substantial mentorship or an experienced orthopedic/sports PT who wants more autonomy and a better clinical environment.

You should enjoy working with active adults and athletes, want to improve your clinical skills, and be comfortable taking ownership of your patients and schedule. Why AID AID Performance Physical Therapy has served the Ashburn community since 2006. You’ll work directly alongside the owner rather than several layers of corporate management, with access to technology and testing systems typically associated with performance and sports-medicine environments.
