MIG Welder

$24.23-$31.84/hour | Day Shift | Sioux Center, IA

We're looking for MIG Welders/Fabricators who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and want to put their welding and fabrication skills to use. You'll work with both custom and standard components, using blueprints, measurements, welding fixtures, and your own skills to turn individual pieces into a quality finished product.

Responsibilities:

• MIG weld a variety of metal components, primarily galvanneal and mild steel

• Fabricate components using blueprints, technical drawings, measurements, layout techniques, and welding fixtures

• Accurately use a tape measure to lay out and fit components

• Inspect your work before and after welding to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards

• Grind, clean, and finish welds to meet structural and appearance requirements

Qualifications:

• MIG welding experience

• Ability to accurately use a tape measure

• Basic fabrication skills and mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read blueprints, or the ability and willingness to develop those skills

• Understanding of welding quality and good workmanship

• Strong attention to detail

• Dependability and a team-oriented approach
