CDL A Route Delivery Driver Direct Hire Opportunity | Superior Skilled Trades Location: Memphis-West, TN Pay: $25.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday | 10-hour shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM Employment Type: Direct Hire Job Overview Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with a company seeking an experienced, dependable, and safety-conscious CDL A Route Delivery Driver to join its team in Memphis-West, TN.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver who takes pride in safe driving, reliable deliveries, and outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will deliver healthcare linen products to customers according to established route schedules while maintaining compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver healthcare linen products to customers on assigned routes. Maintain excellent attendance and meet established delivery schedules. Provide professional customer service and communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members. Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, company safety guidelines, and operational procedures.

Complete required daily and weekly paperwork accurately and on time. Perform daily visual inspections of vehicles and equipment. Load, unload, push, and pull linen carts as required. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Work cooperatively with a diverse workforce and follow instructions from supervisors and managers.

Maintain a positive and professional attitude. Be flexible to work beyond scheduled hours when delivery or production needs arise. Cross-train on additional routes as needed to support department operations. Transport equipment to service providers for repairs and maintenance when required. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

and Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A). Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience . Clean driving record in accordance with company policy. Knowledge of DOT, state, and local transportation regulations. Ability to speak and read English. Strong attendance, communication, time management, and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Availability to drive nights and weekends as needed. Willingness to work flexible hours based on operational requirements. Physical Requirements Ability to sit and operate a commercial vehicle for several hours per day. Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for up to 10 hours per day.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds overhead. Ability to push and pull wheeled soil and clean linen carts weighing up to 800 pounds. Ability to bend, twist, lift, pull, and perform repetitive arm movements throughout the workday. Ability to safely perform the physical duties associated with route deliveries and linen handling.
