Full Time Service Advisor Assistant

The Assistant Service Advisor supports the Service Department by assisting customers, coordinating vehicle service appointments, and ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience. This position works closely with Service Advisors, technicians, and management to maintain efficient workflow and provide excellent customer service.

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND STARTS AT $20 PER HOUR

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers and assist with their service needs in a professional and friendly manner.
• Assist Service Advisors with writing repair orders and documenting customer concerns.
• Schedule service appointments and coordinate customer follow-ups.
• Communicate with customers regarding vehicle status, service recommendations, and estimated completion times.
• Assist with preparing estimates and reviewing repair orders for accuracy.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of service work.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle information.
• Assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Help maintain an organized and professional service department.
• Support the Service Manager and Service Advisors with daily operation

• Basic automotive knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Computer proficiency and willingness to learn dealership software.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must possess a valid IL driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

SCHEDULE:

• Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with an hour for lunch.
