Job description
Overview
Are you a certified personal trainer who wants to do more than count reps? At the YMCA of Greater Kansas City, you'll build real relationships with members who are counting on you — not just for a good workout, but for encouragement, accountability, and lasting results. Join a welcoming, mission-driven team dedicated to strengthening our community one person at a time.

Because our members train throughout the day, we're looking for trainers who can cover a range of hours — including at least one evening per week. Why train with us? Grow your income by growing your client base — as you build relationships with members, your hours grow with you Free YMCA Adult Membership — full access to our facilities for you, on us Flexible scheduling — we work with you to build a schedule that fits your life Paid CPR/First Aid certification — we cover the cost so your credentials stay current A built-in audience — no cold outreach or self-marketing required; our members are already here and looking for guidance Hourly Pay - starting between $17.
39-$21.74 per hour OUR CULTURE: The YMCA of Greater Kansas City’s mission and core values are brought to life by our culture. It’s who we are, who we aspire to be and how we show up every day. We are cause-driven . We don’t just show up, we show up with purpose. We are welcoming : we are open to all. We are a place where you can belong and become.
We are genuine: we value you and embrace your individuality. We are hopeful : we believe in you and your potential to become a catalyst in the world.
