Position Summary
Position: Labourer Type: Full Time Location: Suncor Mackay River Schedule: 4 on/ 3 off (Monday

Employer paid Employee Assistance Program Other Incentives: Progression and development opportunities Safety Recognition Years of Service Recognition – Annual Bouchier welcome gift and company swag Overtime available but not guaranteed Role Summary: The Labourer is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations through the safe and efficient loading, unloading, moving, and organizing of materials, equipment, and supplies. The position will operate a Zoom Boom/Telehandler to safely handle and transport materials within the warehouse and designated work areas. The successful candidate will assist with receiving and shipping activities, material staging, inventory organization, housekeeping, and general labour duties as required. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Labourer reports directly to the Shift Supervisor. Primary Responsibilities: Safely operate a Zoom Boom/Telehandler to load, unload, move, and position materials, equipment, pallets, and supplies. Load and unload trucks, trailers, and delivery vehicles using the appropriate equipment and safe material-handling practices. Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and supplies. Follow the work order system, including interpreting work orders, completing assigned work, and closing work orders as instructed. Stage materials for delivery, distribution, or use by other departments and work crews. Move and organize materials throughout the warehouse and designated storage areas. Ensure materials are properly stored, secured, and easily accessible. Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including verifying quantities and identifying damaged or missing materials. Complete required material handling, inventory, and work order documentation. Perform daily pre-use inspections of the Zoom Boom and other equipment and report any deficiencies immediately. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse and work area. Assist with manual loading, unloading, lifting, and movement of materials as required. Follow all warehouse procedures, traffic plans, lifting requirements, and established safety protocols. Communicate effectively with supervisors, warehouse personnel, drivers, and other site workers to coordinate material movement. Operate other equipment, such as forklifts or skid steers, when trained and authorized. Assist with general labour and warehouse duties as required. Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
Education
& Experience: Telehandler Certificate is required Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required Ability to provide a clean driver's abstract CSO (Common Safety Orientation) certificate is required WHMIS 2015 certificate is required H2S Awareness is required Ability to lift 50 pounds or more Safety conscious attitude Must be willing to work in fluctuating climates (hot, cold, wet) and environmental conditions All applicants must have the ability to speak, read and write fluently in English.
