Reporting to the Surface Superintendent, an exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and safety-focused Skilled Mobile Equipment Operator to join the Oaky Creek Coal team.

Key responsibilities include

Demonstrating and promoting a strong commitment to safety and compliance with site procedures

Operating a range of mobile equipment to undertake rehabilitation, civil construction and earthworks activities

Conducting reclamation and rehabilitation dozer operations in support of mine closure and land restoration programs

Operating service trucks and carrying out routine servicing and minor maintenance of mobile equipment

Supporting site water management activities, including water transfer systems, pipelines and associated infrastructure maintenance

Contributing to environmental management initiatives and maintaining high housekeeping standards across work areas

Working collaboratively within a small team environment to deliver operational and rehabilitation objectives

About you

Previous experience operating mobile equipment within surface mining, civil construction, earthmoving or similar heavy industry environments

Current Queensland HR Driver Licence

Current competencies in dozer, loader, excavator and/or grader operations will be highly regarded

Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team

Strong commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement

Demonstrated understanding of environmental responsibilities and sustainable work practices

Reliable, self-motivated and willing to contribute positively to team outcomes

This is a 7 days on/7days off rostered position.
