Elementary Chief Class IV

Position: Elementary Chief

• Class IV Effective Date: ASAP Hours: 8 hours per day - 1st shift 6:30am - 3:00pm 5 days per week 261 days - 12 months Requirements: 1st Class Boilers License (or ability to obtain within 6 months). Able to lift 60 lbs. Acceptable attendance record. Ability to communicate with all staff. Must be able to work flexible hours. Must pass physical and physical ability test. Demonstrate mechanical ability. Demonstrate knowledge of energy management system. Demonstrate HVAC knowledge. Demonstrate computer knowledge. Maintain building & grounds winter and summer. Maintain all preventive maintenance. Ability to evaluate employee performance to department guidelines. Maintain a balance budget. Ability to work independently. Good organizational skills. Valid driver's license. All other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
