Registered Nurse (RN)

$10,000 Retention Bonus Available! Job Title: Registered Nurse Company: Bethany Home Sioux Falls Salary: Starting hourly range of $36 - $41 Compensation is determined by our set wage scale. Shifts available: Overnight (6pm - 6am) Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Plan and execute nursing care according to individual care plans and physician's instructions.
• Assess residents' physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs.
• Supervise and assist nursing assistants with resident care.
• Initiate and modify care plans as needed.
• Monitor residents' conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to ensure optimal resident care.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, team members, and healthcare professionals.
• Administer medication with utmost care and attention to detail.
• Maintain accurate and concise records of resident care.
• Assist with discharge planning and provide resident and family education.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nursing program and current licensure in South Dakota.
• Thorough knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and ethics.
• Ability to work under stress and adapt to changing situations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their families.
• Reliable transportation and good physical and mental health.
