Waiters: Room Serv/Miniba Job

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: To ensure the effective delivery of in-room dining services to guests of the hotel in line with brand standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

& EXPERIENCE : Minimum Grade 12. 1 year experience in a restaurant operation as a waiter within a 4* or 5* hotel and restaurant practice. Basic math skills for handling payments and making change. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES : Provide personalized guest service based on preferences and ensure an ever-lasting bond is created with guests.

Maintain a friendly attitude, welcome, and acknowledge each guest with a smile and a friendly verbal greeting in line with the sequence of service. Document orders and repeat items back to callers to ensure accuracy and quote the expected arrival time with speed and accuracy. Promptly answer room service calls, announce any specials, promote menu items, and answer questions regarding preparation methods.

Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and temperature. Process payments accurately, handle cash, credit cards, and electronic payments as needed. Maintain the cleanliness of the duty station before the end of each shift in accordance with the standards. CLOSING DATE: 02 NOVEMBER 2026 OL
