Medical Technologist

Responsible for performing chemical, hemotology, urinalysis, microbiology and blood bank analysis and related techniques for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Educational and/or Professional Qualifications: 1.##### An Associates degree or Bachelor of Science degree required. Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.

: 1.##### Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists recommended. 2.##### Must be licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Generalist or Clinical Lab Science-Technician by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners or can be eligible for licensure.
