Assistant Property Manager

Habitat America, seeks an experienced, professional Full TimeAssistant Property Manager for The Residences at Forest Glen. The Residences at Forest Glen is a new construction 100%Tax CreditCommunity in Silver Spring, Maryland. To fill this role, we looking to hire anexperienced Tax Credit Assistant Manager. This community recently completed the initial lease up process.

The Assistant Property Manager must be able to step in the Property Manager role in their absence, therefore it is imperative that candidates have excellent customer service skills, written and oral communications skills and an attention to detail. To be considered for this position, candidates must have least 3 years of prior property management Tax Credit experience as a Assistant Community Manager. TCS certifications are a plus!

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must have at least 3 years prior property management experience as an Assistant Community Manager or Property Manager
• Must have 3+ years Tax Credit Experience
• TCS certification is a plus!
• Experience with planning resident events and newsletter planning
• Yardi Software experience strongly preferred
• Must be able to work individually and meet deadlines
• Must be able to lead a team while being part of a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required
• Must have an attention to detail for both the physical property and required Tax Credit paperwork
