Job Summary

Rock Ridge School District is seeking a qualified and student-centered Physical Therapist to provide school-based physical therapy services for students with disabilities ages birth through age 21. The Physical Therapist works collaboratively with special education staff, general education staff, related service providers, families, and administration to support students in accessing their educational environment and making meaningful progress toward IEP goals. Services may be proved in school buildings, early childhood settings, center-based programs, and community instructional environments as required by student needs.

Education

Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from CAPTE accredited physical therapy program. Required:

1. Current Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) through the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy * Must hold an active unrestricted Minnesota PT license. * Minnesota law requires an active state PT license in order to practice physical therapy in any setting, including schools.
2. Graduate of an Accredited Physical Therapy Program
3. Passage of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) as part of Minnesota licensure.
