Life Sciences Fellow (Paid)

Life Sciences Fellow (Paid) The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF), a Washington, DC-based think tank, is seeking a policy fellow (internship) to conduct research on life-sciences innovation policy issues during the spring of 2027, starting on or after January 4, 2027. The ideal applicant should have a demonstrated interest in life-sciences innovation, as well as exceptional research, writing, and organizational abilities.

Students with a strong interest in these issues are especially encouraged to apply. The position is available on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours a week. Ideally, the applicant will be located in Washington, DC. Essential responsibilities: Support ITIF’s Center for Life Sciences Innovation in its activities. Conduct research on topics related to biopharmaceutical innovation.

Write or help draft policy articles, blogs, and op-eds. Provide research support (e.g., writing literature reviews, etc.)

Qualifications

An undergraduate or graduate student in public policy, public health, life sciences, economics, or a related field. Demonstrated interest in life sciences, innovation, and public policy. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills. Highly proactive and flexible, able to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
