Tool Room Attendant

Description The main responsibility of a parts puller is to retrieve specific parts or materials from storage areas and prepare them for use in production or distribution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Receiving orders from supervisors or computer systems for specific parts or materials needed for production or distribution. Locating the requested items in storage areas and verifying their accuracy and condition. Retrieving the items and moving them to the appropriate production or distribution area. Keeping records of materials pulled and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Maintaining a clean and organized work area. Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed, such as receiving, packing, or shipping.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and understand work orders and inventory records. Attention to detail and accuracy in pulling and verifying parts and materials. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and move items for extended periods of time. Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment, such as hand trucks or pallet jacks.

Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift min 50 pounds.
