JOB OVERVIEW The Mini Bar Attendant provides guests an alternative option of enjoying a pre-determined array of snack offerings, beverages and amenities in the comfort of their rooms. These offerings are attractively presented to appeal to the impulse buyer looking for a whimsical purchase.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards. Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended Stock all rooms and suites with a complete offering of all products as outlined in the menu. Present all items in guest room in a manner that is appealing and provokes an impulse buy from the guest.
Ensure that product offerings are fresh, current dated and as intended by producer/ manufacturer. Wipe down/ dust all products, trays, shelves and refrigeration units containing mini bar products Change out menu inserts as necessary. Monitor for cleanliness and condition daily. Monitor product, track and schedule change of dead stock in a proactive manner.
Maintain adequate supplies of all mini bar product on all floors for easy but secure access. Conduct inventory of supplies at end of period or as needed. Identify ways to reduce shrinkage and minimize loss. Communicate effectively with Housekeeping Supervisor and Butler to efficiently restock mini bars prior to guest arrival.
Post charges for consumption daily. Charges for departing guests must be posted upon short notice as requested and never be later than the day of check out. Visit each occupied and departure guest room daily and monitor all room access. Understand Faena’s Path of the Warrior standards and practice daily. Restock occupied rooms in a timely matter: 10min/per room.
Restock new arrival rooms following the daily supervisor’s requests. PHYSICAL ABILITIES Ability to grasp, lift, move, or push goods on cart/truck weighing up to 100 pounds. Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces. Ability to see and respond dangerous to situations. Requires mobility. Sense of smell, taste, touch, and sound.
Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity. Remain in stationary position for 8 or more hours throughout work shift Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality. Some of the work will occur in different locations of the hotel
