JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective Process vehicles to prepare for pick and delivery.
Essential Functions
Drive vehicles in shop to process. Place throw-in items in vehicles such as mats and books. Change lug nuts. Place a label on vehicle Drive vehicles out of the shop to appropriate location Competencies Effective communicator in listening, writing, and verbal. Must be detail oriented. Ability to solve problems. Ability to work as a team.
Ability to organize and prioritize competing responsibilities. Punctual and dependable person. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct reports. Work Environment Well-lighted, heated indoor office, production, setting, outdoor/indoor shop environment or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions.
Physical Demands Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift.
This position often requires overtime. Travel This position does not have any travel requirements. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Education and Experience One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Card). Must have a valid Driver’s License. Compensation
