Claims Technician

Job Type: Permanent Build a brilliant future with Hiscox Claims Technician The Role: The Claims Technician provides operational and administrative support to the claims team. This includes, but is not limited to: Obtains documents necessary to close a file (release, dismissal, final invoices and ensure invoices are paid before file closing) Ensures the deductible or SIR is satisfied and notated before closing a file Accurately documents claim files with all relevant claim documentation, correspondence and notes in compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory authorities Keeps a task/diary on every file and follows up per company policies Drafts correspondence to customers and defense counsel to identify yourself as the Closer on the file Supports multiple teams in the Claims organization Timely submits invoices for payment and ensure the file is documented Timely closes files Provides excellent customer service to internal and external partners, insureds and colleagues The Team: The US Claims team at Hiscox is a growing group of professionals working together to provide superior customer service and claims handling expertise.

Requirements
