Assistant Director, Community Engagement

The American Chemical Society (ACS) seeks a strategic and results-oriented Assistant Director, Community Engagement to lead initiatives that drive membership growth, engagement, retention, and long-term member value.

This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing community engagement strategies that strengthen member connections, increase participation across ACS programs and volunteer opportunities, and support membership acquisition and renewal objectives. The Assistant Director will leverage community ecosystems, member insights, and data-driven engagement models to create meaningful experiences that enhance satisfaction, foster belonging, and demonstrate the value of ACS membership throughout every stage of a chemist's career.
