Technician

You will serve as a Technician in the Energy Systems Specialized Test and Evaluation Branch (JXMN), Power and Energy Systems Division of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13/14. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions.

This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $138,370).

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing, developing, and utilizing engineering methods and procedures to assess electrical systems, subsystems, or components to provide technical direction on testing and evaluation of battery or energy systems and equipment for ensuring operational readiness.
