Cardiovascular Technologist II- Gulf Coast Medical Center

Location: Gulf Coast Medical Center - 13681 Doctor's Way Fort Myers FL 33912 Department: Cardiac Cath Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 1/7:00:00 AM to 4:30:00 PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $31.90 - $41.48 / hour Summary Assists Cardiologists with select procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab. Performs all functions related to circulating, scrubbing, recording, and x-ray duties.

Provides direct patient care, basic interpretation of hemodynamics, ECG, and medication administration. Troubleshoots all Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab equipment with minimal assistance.

Requirements

Associate Degree required or two years of formal education or training beyond high school required. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of CVT experience required. Certification: Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. For units that require American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date.

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required. License: N/A US:FL:Fort Myers
