Forklift Operator

Job Title: Forklift Operator Location/Pay: Vancouver and Lower Mainland, BC, Canada ($22/hr) Company: M3 Staffing Responsibilities: As a Forklift Operator, your main responsibilities are: Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials. Material Handling: Transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies throughout job sites, warehouses, and designated work areas.

Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks while ensuring materials are properly positioned and secured. Safety Compliance: Follow all workplace safety procedures, including BC Occupational Health and Safety regulations and site-specific requirements. Equipment Inspection: Perform daily forklift inspections and report any mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns.

Site Organization: Maintain organized work areas and ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently. Communication: Work closely with supervisors, drivers, and construction crews to coordinate material movement and follow directions. Documentation: Complete equipment inspection records and other required paperwork accurately.

Qualifications

To be considered, candidates should have: Certification: Valid forklift operator certification. Experience: Previous forklift operating experience is preferred. Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of workplace and equipment safety procedures. Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move materials as needed (Minimum, 25 lbs).

Equipment Skills: Comfortable operating forklifts in warehouse, construction, or industrial environments. Team Player: Ability to work well with supervisors and other team members. Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to maintaining a strong work ethic. Attention to Detail: Ability to safely handle materials and follow instructions accurately.
