Hydrotechnician

Position Summary

Works under direct supervision to complete the hydro testing of manufactured products within established procedures. Job Description: Operates hydro test and may read chart recorder to pressure test vessels and piping Hydro test specific pressures retaining items Works with exceptional safety hazards at all times Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department Required Test: None Preferred Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent or equal combination of education and experience Two (2) years of related experience and/or training Some knowledge of A.

N.S.I. ratings, flange, bolts, and gasket sizes Physical Strain: Lifting up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds Bending, squatting, climbing, pulling, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights Must be able to work under pressure Must meet all OSHA regulations regarding hydro testing
