Project Engineer - Bush Construction (Davenport, IA)

Bush Construction is looking to add a Project Engineer to our Davenport, Iowa team. Working alongside our Project Managers and Superintendents, our Project Engineers help keep projects on track – supporting planning, documentation, and coordination from preconstruction through closeout. It’s a great opportunity to learn every side of running commercial construction projects, with experienced mentors alongside you.

What can you expect in this role? Review drawings, specifications, and submittals. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Manage project documentation, including RFIs, ASIs, and change orders. Support preconstruction, site inspections, and project closeout. What makes you successful in this position?

Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong organizational and communication skills. Able to read drawings, specifications, and contracts. Experience with construction project management software is a plus. Able to travel up to 10% of the time.

This position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle records check. Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
