Your responsibilities

Safely operate a straight truck to customer delivery locations. Load petroleum products at designated loading facilities. Deliver fuel to customer tanks and other approved receiving vessels following company safety and delivery procedures. Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Operate onboard delivery computer and meter systems.

Maintain required DOT and delivery documentation, including manifests, emergency response information, vehicle inspection reports, and hours-of-service records. Follow all applicable traffic laws, DOT requirements, and company safety procedures. Promptly report vehicle or equipment concerns to Fleet Maintenance. Operate other company vehicles within applicable license restrictions when assigned.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education, Skills and Abilities: High School Diploma or GED recommended, but not required. Must be 21 years of age (DOT required). Current/valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements and TWIC Card. Current/valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate. Pass a FMCSA Clearinghouse Query. 3+ Years’ experience driving fuel tanker vehicles, preferred.

Ability to train and learn the petroleum industry. Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 50 lbs. and the ability to stabilize a minimum of 100 lbs. Ability to work with little supervision. Ability to effectively communicate verbally with others, including employees and customers. Must meet company insurability requirements.
