Materials Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities

Analyze large and complex data sets to perform material shortage simulations, assess supply impact, and develop commit plans that enable fact-based decision-making and reliable customer delivery. Develop and communicate material shortage reports, big-deal simulations, and ad hoc analyses to provide visibility of supply risks, gaps, and mitigation actions.

Represent Procurement in cross-functional discussions with Product Line, Planning, and other stakeholders on material availability, shortages, delivery commitments, and supply risks. Proactively identify and mitigate material delivery risks impacting manufacturing builds and customer orders, driving cross-functional actions to closure.

Develop, execute, and monitor supply risk mitigation and recovery plans, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Manage multiple priorities and critical supply issues concurrently, ensuring timely follow-up, escalation, and resolution.

Qualifications

Minimally Bachelor degree or equivalent Minimally 5-7 years relevant experience in Procurement/supply chain/Analyst or equivalent fields Require in-depth MRP/ERP knowledge, knowledge in Oracle will be an added advantage High level of organizations skills with ability to work independently as well as a strong team player Possess positive attitude and strong analytical skill Excellent problem-solving methods Strong communication skills, i.
