Global Lead AI Professional Services & Portfolio Strategy (m/f/d/x)

About the Position As the Global Tribe Lead AI Professional Services and AI Portfolio at T-Systems, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and expanding our AI Professional Services business. This senior leadership position uniquely blends strategic AI business development, comprehensive portfolio creation, deep client engagement, and robust delivery leadership.

You will be instrumental in identifying significant enterprise AI opportunities, crafting compelling client-ready propositions, and building repeatable services that deliver measurable business value. You will lead the AI Professional Services Tribe, connecting T-Systems’ advanced AI, Data, and technology capabilities with the specific needs of large enterprise clients across DACH and international markets.

Your focus will include developing practical AI use cases, particularly in critical sectors like manufacturing, supply chain and logistics, industrial IoT, energy, and regulated industries. Collaborating closely with Sales, Presales, Products & Platforms, and various delivery and industry teams, you will drive pipeline growth, shape new opportunities, and ensure successful service delivery.

The portfolio under your guidance will encompass cutting-edge areas such as GenAI, enterprise RAG, agentic AI, AI governance, AI adoption, and AI-enabled process transformation. This role demands a business-oriented AI and digital transformation leader with a proven track record in building or scaling technology, AI, data, or consulting businesses.

You bring strong commercial judgment to generate new revenue streams, the credibility to engage senior clients at a C-level, and the leadership skills to align diverse teams within a complex international organization. Must-Have Skills Enterprise AI & GenAI Leadership : Proven experience in shaping AI/GenAI strategy and initiatives within a technology or consulting environment.

AI Business Development : Strong track record in identifying enterprise AI opportunities, developing client propositions, and pipeline growth. International Client Experience : Leading client activities across DACH and international enterprise markets. C-Level Client Engagement : Expertise in engaging senior decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, business leaders) in complex organizations.

Commercial Ownership : Experience in building, scaling, and commercially owning a business line or technology portfolio. AI Portfolio & Solution Development : Translating client needs into digital, data, or AI solutions from strategy to adoption. Industrial & Supply Chain AI : Developing and delivering AI solutions for manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and industrial IoT.

Transformation Program Leadership : Leading complex technology or business transformation programs end-to-end. Strategic Partnerships : Building partnerships with clients or tech providers, developing joint go-to-market strategies. Professional Services Acumen : Deep understanding of technology consulting, digital services, and delivery economics.

Technical AI & Digital Expertise : Strong foundation in AI, data platforms, and digital transformation, connecting technology to business value. Matrix Leadership & Communication : Aligning cross-functional, international teams; excellent English (German beneficial). Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with SaaS or technology product development, including taking solutions from concept through launch, adoption and growth.

Experience in manufacturing, industrial machinery, pharmaceuticals, supply chain and logistics, energy, oil and gas, food and beverage, or other regulated industries. Practical familiarity with enterprise RAG, agentic AI and the development of GenAI solutions. Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI, regulatory requirements such as the EU AI Act, or data and AI sovereignty.

Experience leading change management, innovation programmes, mentoring or coaching senior teams. An advanced degree or equivalent technical background in AI, engineering, computer science, IoT or a related discipline. Fluent German and English.
