Case Consultant

Rutter Mills LLP, a leading personal injury law firm in Hampton Roads, is seeking a committed and client-focused Case Consultant to join our Front End Department. This role plays an important part in the firm’s success and reputation by serving as a first point of contact for potential clients and helping create a professional, compassionate, and positive intake experience.

As the face and voice of Rutter Mills, Case Consultants create positive first impressions and support current and potential clients through the intake process with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.

We are seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is committed to exceptional client service. The ideal candidate is great on the phone, personable, and an empathetic, attentive listener. Manage incoming and outbound calls with warmth, accuracy, and exceptional client service Conduct new client intakes for designated case types, helping ensure a seamless and supportive experience Collect, verify, and document client information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Perform data entry and maintain organized, accurate records Communicate effectively with current and potential clients, referrals, walk-ins, and team members Assist with front-end client support and help ensure timely follow-up throughout the intake process Balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Follow firm procedures and maintain confidentiality in all interactions Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate potentially detailed and complex information to others.

Previous sales experience preferred, with the ability to build rapport, understand client needs, and guide conversations effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands professionally. Bilingual a plus!
