HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR I OR II Heavy Equipment Operator The City of Waynesboro Public Works Department seeks individuals for the Heavy Equipment Operator I or II position. What You’ll Do: Individuals will be required to perform difficult semiskilled and skilled work in the operation of motorized equipment in the performance of a variety of maintenance activities.

Motorized equipment includes backhoes, skid steer, and/or excavator. Work is revolved around maintaining the City’s infrastructure/ facilities and utilities. This position is vital to keeping the City fully functional. Positions are available for Sewer, Water, and Stormwater.
