Engineer III, Automation

POSITION SUMMARY:The Senior Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, sourcing, building and testing automated assembly equipment used in the biodefense, clinical and life-science markets. This position will conduct the planning, scheduling and control of Automation projects to support new product development through the transition from prototypes into manufacturing.

This position will manage and direct the work of others.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop and test automation equipment

• Robotics, controls, fluid handling equipment, machine vision, pick-and-place, part handling, sorting and conveying, and packaging• Software programming for control of automation equipment• Design of Human Machine Interfaces̶
