If you join us, you can play your part as a Warehouse Operative at RAF Cranwell, near Sleaford, Lincolnshire. The role As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll support the supply chain activities that keep our aviation operations moving. Working as part of the logistics team, you’ll carry out a wide range of duties in accordance with MOD, RAF and Babcock processes—ensuring equipment is stored correctly, accounted for accurately, and available when required.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to: Carry out all logistics duties in line with MOD/RAF/Babcock policies and procedures. Maintain storage areas in accordance with Defence Logistics Framework and other regulatory requirements. Ensure personal authorisations, training and competencies remain up to date. Support the upkeep and husbandry of the FEG department, compounds and vehicles within your area of responsibility.

Manage equipment establishments to ensure items are stored, maintained and accounted for accurately. This is a full time, permanent, onsite role working 39 hours per week, Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:30 and Friday 08:00–15:30. Essential experience of the Warehouse Operative: Previous experience in supply chain or logistics within a military or civilian environment.

Experience using logistics-based computer systems.

Qualifications

Full UK driving licence. C1 LGV up to 7.5 tonnes (desirable). Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (desirable). Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard BPSS/ Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
