Outdoor Sand Plant Laborer - Experience Required

Description Strasburg, OH | Frac Sand Mining & Processing | 4 Days On, 4 Days Off | 12-Hour Shifts $19 - $25 / Hour | Company-Paid Medical, Dental & Vision | 401(k) Match | Monthly Production Bonus We are hiring experienced, safety-minded laborers and operators to support daily production at our sand processing plant.

This is hands-on outdoor industrial work in an active plant environment. We are looking for people who have already worked outdoors around heavy equipment and know what a full shift on an industrial site takes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

& RESPONSIBILITIES Load, unload, dig, lift, and move material throughout the plant and yard. Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Operate skid steers, manlifts, telehandlers, and track hoes once trained and authorized. Support routine upkeep and preventive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.

Assist operators, tradespeople, and maintenance personnel with assigned tasks. Follow all safety policies, wear required PPE, and report hazards promptly. SCHEDULE 4 days on, 4 days off 12-hour shifts, days or nights Weekends and holidays as scheduled PAY & BENEFITS $19 - $25 per hour, based on experience Company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and company holidays Monthly production bonus eligibility PPE reimbursement, including approved safety boots and protective equipment Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and dust.

Availability for 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift and carry heavy tools, materials, and equipment, and to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods. Dependability, punctuality, and a consistent commitment to safe work practices. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a crew.

Previous experience in an outdoor or labor-intensive role, such as construction, landscaping, agriculture, road work, warehouse, or mining.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in a sand, aggregate, mining, or other heavy industrial plant. Experience operating a skid steer, manlift, telehandler, or track hoe. Basic knowledge of occupational safety practices. PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed outdoors in an active industrial plant environment. Exposure to dust, noise, heat, cold, and moving heavy equipment.
