Experienced Aviation Pneumatic Technician

Essential Duties

Disassemble, clean, repair, and overhaul pneumatic aircraft components. Use and interpret Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM). Operate various measuring and test equipment in accordance with FAA standards. Complete required documentation and reports in a timely manner. Comply with FAA and Repair Station operating procedures (Part 145).

Maintain inspection tools/equipment with current calibration. Perform maintenance per OEM technical data and FAA-approved guidelines. Support leadership in absence of the shop manager. Participate in cross-training and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience: Experience with visual and dimensional inspection techniques. Strong working knowledge of pneumatic systems and aircraft components. Familiarity with on/off valves, solenoids, regulators, torque motors, ACMs, PDUs, and both narrow and wide-body starters. Prior leadership or team lead experience is a plus. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in using inspection and diagnostic tools. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and meet physical requirements for shop tasks. Qualification: **Minimum 2 years of experience in an MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) or similar aviation setting. A&P License preferred, but not required.
