After-School Kinder Teacher (Western Hills Campus)

Position: After-School Kinder Teacher (Western Hills Campus) Location: Great Hearts Western Hills ( 8702 Ingram Rd. San Antonio 78245 ) Reports To: Campus Coordinator FLSA Status: Part-Time; Hourly Position Description: Part-time afternoon position supporting kindergartners in homework, enrichment, and fun. Teachers will conduct a daily activity following a provided lesson plan.

Qualifications

Some college (preferably with education or liberal arts major), experience with children, excellent communication skills, and ability to lead and teach children.

Requirements

Must complete Texas Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance and background check. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age by their start date. Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 50 pounds approximately.

US Work Authorization is required. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance in accordance with state requirements. Travel required: May need to travel locally for training and professional development opportunities. This description reflects management’s assignment of essential functions.
