Cold Production Manager

Directly manage cold production kitchens over both sites. Overall responsibility of the production and delivery of cold products across sites, ensuring a safe working environment, with a motivated team, whilst producing products to meet the needs of the business and delight our customers.

• Set production plans for both cold kitchens in line with anticipated business
• Ensure day to day delivery and distribution of cold production products for sale in all areas of the business, is line with anticipated trade and e nsure effective, clear communications between departments to ensure awareness of product movement
• Oversee specification and presentation of products to ensure we are maintaining the company standards whilst working with Lead Chef and wider food development team in the implementation of new products
• Effectively manage, recruit, train and support the team
• Work as part of the larger catering team where necessary, using flexibility and your initiative to change your own activities to meet different circumstances
• Support with stock control in all aspects of ordering and stock movements as necessary, ensuring all procedures are followed in regards to production,transfers, shipping , wastage and invoice processing
• Manage and escalate any issues in a timely manner regarding colleagues or inability to meet production or food service deadlines
• Ensure that Kitchen areas are maintained to a high standard, working within food safety guidelines and ensure all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to and audited in line with the health and safety policy
• Undertake any further training as deemed necessary by your line manager
• Carryout any reasonable instruction given by your line manager
