Parts Manager

Parts Manager Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc is a multi-location, full-service trailer dealership with an immediate opening at its Little Rock, AR for a professional parts manager with experience in the heavy-duty semi-trailer industry. Responsibilities

Supervise all activities relating to the management of the Parts Department including sales, purchasing, delivery, marketing, customer and vendor relationships, inventory control, administration, and personnel. Achieving profitable growth will be the primary objective. Developing and maintaining customer relationships.

Calling on customers and prospects with the ability to quote profitable programs and recognizing cross selling opportunities. Developing and implementing marketing and sales programs promoting existing and new product lines. Supervision of all parts personnel including counter, outside sales, warehouse, and delivery. Developing and maintaining vendor relationships including negotiation and procurement.

Inventory management including stocking levels, warehouse mgmt., showroom display, safekeeping, and physical counts. Preparation and utilization of an annual Operating Plan for the Parts Department. Manage the company safety program. Interfacing with corporate accounting and administration, as well as other branch locations as needed.

Ensuring deliveries are made in cost effective and timely manner. Full P&L responsibility. Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Must have 4+ years’ experience in sales of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts or service or a related sales background. Warehouse management or supervisory experience a plus. Must have leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage staff. Must have strong sales skills and mechanical aptitude. Must be committed to a high level of customer service and satisfaction.

Must present a professional, positive, results oriented, problem-solving attitude. Must have good written and oral communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and multi-task. Must have good computer skills. No outside recruiting partner inquiries please!
