Assistant Professor in School of Law

Teaching and Curriculum Development: Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Law related subjects. Design and revise course curriculum to align with industry trends and academic standards. Mentor and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in their academic pursuits. Research and Scholarly Activity: Conduct innovative research in Legal Studies, leading to publications in reputed journals and conferences.

Secure external research funding and collaborate with industry partners to address contemporary challenges. Supervise research projects and guide students in their research endeavors. Academic Leadership and Administration: Provide leadership in the development and enhancement of academic programs within the department.

Participate in academic committees and contribute to institutional governance. Mentor junior faculty members and support their professional growth. Community Engagement and Outreach: Engage in outreach activities to promote Legal education and research to the broader community. Foster collaborations with other academic institutions, industry partners, and professional bodies.

Contribute to the advancement of the field through participation in conferences, workshops, and seminars.

Requirements

A Masters degree in Law or a related field with 55% minimum marks or from a recognized institution. The Candidate must have cleared the NET/SET/SLET. A demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence, with a minimum of 01 year of teaching experience preferred. Experience or willingness to engage in curriculum development and delivery at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
