Financial Manager

An exciting opportunity is available for a self-motivated and outcomes-driven Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of a dynamic organization in Port Elizabeth. This senior role requires an individual who can manage the full financial accounting function, strengthen financial controls, guide support staff and ensure that all financial activities are performed efficiently and in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in preparing management accounts. Support variance analysis and provide insights into cost control and profitability. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets. Monitor project budgets against actual spend and highlight variances. Support cash flow management and prepare projections.

Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations. Assist with the implementation of financial systems and controls. Ensure accurate record-keeping for all financial transactions.

Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field. 5+ years' experience in a finance or accounting environment. Experience with Staff Management and Project management. Strong Budget management experience. Experience with Pastel Evolution or similar. Valid Drivers License and Vehicle.
