Building Maintenance Mechanic The Jefferson County Buildings and Grounds Department is currently seeking applications for Building Maintenance Mechanic. The position is 40 hours per week and on the day shift. Salary Range: $21.63 - $26.01 per hour Benefits: NYS Retirement Deferred Compensation Sick Leave Paid Vacation Tuition Reimbursement Comprehensive Health Plan, Including Vision Dental Insurance Flex Spending Account Candidates may be eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program Jefferson County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Minimum Qualifications

(A) Three years of experience in general building construction, maintenance or repair in one or more of the standard trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, etc.; OR (B) Six years of experience assisting in general building construction, maintenance or repair in one or more of the standard trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, etc.
